Emergency Procedures

You must have on file at Roots and Wings the procedure you wish to be followed in the case of an emergency, including who should be called.

Each family is asked to provide an Emergency Go-Bag for their child, to be used in the event of a serious emergency requiring teachers and children to relocate quickly. The Go-Bag should be a compact drawstring bag, and include the following items:

• Warm blanket
• Change of clothes appropriate to the season
• Day’s worth of diapers (if applicable)
• Stuffed animal or favorite toy
• Any other comfort items
• Card listing emergency contact information numbers, any necessary medications, prescriptions (with complete names/dosages), and allergies
